The time to dine booked must be adhered to on the day. $35.00 incl GST per staff member, per hour charge will apply should the time be changed e.g. late arrivals, speeches.
A set period of service time is allocated to each function. The size and type of function will determine the service period time allocated.
Any booking on a Public Holiday will incur a 10% surcharge.
Head Table service is not included in the per person price – should you wish to add this to your function please advise at the time of booking. It will not always be possible to accommodate this.
Prices quoted include the supply of all food, serviettes, cutlery & crockery (as per packages selected) and tablecloths – for the buffet tables ONLY. We DO NOT provide the TABLES.
IMPORTANT: NO BOOKING WILL BE CONFIRMED UNTIL A DEPOSIT IS RECEIVED.
Confirmation of Final Numbers
You must contact us with final numbers no later than 5 working days prior to the function (i.e., if you have your function on a Saturday, your final numbers are due the Monday prior). This confirmed number will be the minimum number to be charged. However, should the actual number of guests in attendance be greater, then the greater number will be charged.
Children and Minimum Numbers
Children under 5 years are free of charge up to 8 children and then it is $3.00 incl GST per child after that. Children aged 5-10 are half the food price. Children from the age of 11 years are charged as adults. Minimum numbers on each menu refer to the minimum number of full paying adults.
Changes to Orders
All changes to your order must be made no later than 5 working days prior to the function date. All changes will be considered but we hold the right not to accept the change. All changes must be made in writing to email@example.com.
For all ‘delivery’ packages in the metropolitan areas the following delivery fees apply – Auckland $40.00 and Hamilton $30.00.
A travel charge applies if outside the metropolitan areas of Auckland and Hamilton on all packages this is worked out at the time of booking.
Food Quantity and Equipment
All allocations are based on experience in the food industry. We usually cater for more than necessary, but we cannot account for bigger than average eaters. We will not take responsibility for any other food or drink not provided by us on the day of the function. If any equipment remains at the venue, you are responsible to notify us of a time convenient for us to collect it. YOU MUST supply tables for the buffet.
If you are having an outdoor event, you must ensure an alternative venue should the weather be adverse on the day. You will be invoiced for the full cost of the catering should you cancel or postpone the function on the day due to weather conditions.
20% deposit is required on receipt of invoice.
If payment is not received your booking is subject to cancellation.
Weddings – Final payment is due 2 working days prior to your event.
All other events – Final payment is due by the day of your event unless prior arrangement has been made.
We endeavour to arrive on time, yet circumstances out of our control, such as road works, traffic or weather, may delay us. We will NOT be responsible for any cost incurred should the delivery or service be delayed.
If a cancellation is made within four weeks of the date of your function, the deposit will not be refunded. If a cancellation is made within 5 working days of your function, you are required to pay for 75% of the final cost of the function. If you are having an outdoor event, you MUST ensure an alternative venue should the weather be adverse on the day. You will be invoiced for the full cost of the catering should you cancel or postpone the function on the day due to weather conditions. If your event is cancelled due to Covid-19 Alert Levels 3 or 4, your deposit is non-refundable, however, we will hold it as a credit against a future date or event. All cancellations must be in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Availability and Agreement to Terms and Conditions
All bookings and menu options are subject to availability. No booking will be processed unless our terms and conditions are agreed to.
